The site appeared to us to be streamlined for fast loading. We didn’t encounter a single problem, dead-end or confusing page as much as we explored. There were links at the top of page to the Help section, as well as a clock, which is another check in win column. We like to see support readily available, along with a way to help us manage our time on the site.

The reason this review is labeled “Sports.Bodog” is because this site is part of a massive entertainment conglomerate that includes an online casino, a poker site and a horseracing site in addition to the sports book. The Bodog brand also has a plethora of offline entertainment enterprises as well.

The online sports site also offers a service known as Bodog LIVE, which allows players to follow along with a game currently underway and make wagers on each play in real-time. There’s even an articles section providing new betting information and analysis from week to week. Bodog seems to specialize in “nothing but net” when it comes to sports betting!

We found Bodog’s sports book page to be the most well designed offering we’ve come across. It was incredibly easy to find our way around, and we never felt lost. Displayed clearly on the front page are the featured betting lines of the moment, so a single click is all players need to get in on the most popular action. The layout is slick without being too flashy, so it loads much faster than other sites.

The games on which a player may bet are listed by date, with the closest game at the top. We think this is an excellent style of listing, as it allows members to look into the future of their betting. They can better plan their wagering using the timeline displayed right in front of them. The tables are very legible, and members should easily be able to find whatever game, and betting option, for which they’re looking.

Though the site is a pleasure to use, Bodog doesn’t offer much in the way of bonuses for its sports book. All we could find advertised on the site was a 10% sign-up bonus and up to $100 for each friend referred. One promotion involves Bodog LIVE, a service that allows players to bet on every play as they watch it on TV. The other bonuses listed in their Bonus area were for their poker or casino offerings. It may lack the exciting promotions of other sites, but Bodog makes up for it with its great website, articles and support. There’s plenty of fun to be had, even without the bonuses!

Bodog Sportsbook Deposit Options

Sports.Bodog.com accepts deposits through Visa, MasterCard, Visa gift card, and debit card branded with Visa or MasterCard. Members must first complete a Credit Card Verification Form for each card, however. The form requires photocopies of a member’s driver’s license, the front and back of credit card, one additional form of ID. Then form and photocopies must be faxed to Bodog at their toll-free fax number.

Another option is eWalletXpress, which allows the transfer of money from that account directly to a player’s Bodog account. Credit card transactions can take up to 10 business days to show up on a member’s statement. Sometimes deposits made within days of each other may be deducted from the card all at once.

The support area is perhaps the best we’ve come across at an online sports book. The information covered will answer almost any question a player might have. They provide a toll-free number, though it’s only listed on the Contact page. Sports.Bodog.com also offers a live chat support service if a member has a more specific question that isn’t covered in their extensive FAQ and information pages.

One thing we might like to see displayed more prominently is the Responsible Gaming link, which only appears in small print at the bottom of the page. Beyond that, Sports.Bodog.com’s support system gets a thumbs-up from us!
